"We the People" Competition

The Delaware Law Related Education Center coordinates "We the People" training and the State "We the People" Competition for Delaware High Schools. The Competition is held each year in early March. The Competition simulates a Congressional hearing and requires students to respond to a series of questions about the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Teachers who participate in the program receive a set of textbooks, "We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution," produced by the Center for Civic Education, as well as training on how to prepare for "We the People." The state champion participates in the national competition in Washington, D.C.

Additional information on "We the People" will be available at this site later in the Fall.
